We have our final location scouts this weekend. Once our scouting is complete, we will check the availability of the locations and start putting together a schedule. Rehearsals have begun with a couple of the actors, and they are going great. One of the spots we are checking out on Sunday is a studio space that we may utilize for rehearsals.
On an unrelated note, I watched The Godfather Part II yesterday and a line of dialogue that I just love from that movie is this:
"Make sure everyone gets to see the cake before you cut it." - Hyman Roth (at a "mob" meeting)
What a great line.

A line spoken by Samuel L. Jackson in the upcoming film, Snakes on a Plane.
I love it.

-Fandango paper bag people found incinerated!
-Halle Berry look-alike in every fourth seat.
-Trailer warning: "Funny scenes depicted in the following preview may constitute all of the funny scenes in film."
-Electrified seat backs: You kick it, you fry.
-The old Plaza Hotel-style treatment: valet parking, fresh flowers, tuxedoed waiters carrying martinis, "Oh, Tim Allen's in it? Just leave the whole pitcher, dahhling."
-Good movies.

Well, after about 90 minutes of deliberations yesterday, I have made my Oscar picks. I voted pretty safe this year, but I'm not really sure if there are any clear winners this year. I think there is definitely the potential for some major upsets. If that's the case, I'm screwed. I also have been hearing and reading a lot about how this is one of the worst years for movies. I saw a lot of nominees this year, and I liked them all! I think this is probably one of the best years for movies. The Indies are taking over baby, making way for the guerrillas (IceBreaker) to become the "new Indies". It is going to be a great show, and I am really looking forward to it.
