Wow, I guess this didn't surprise me but I would still consider this an upset. I think this film really did deserve it over the others- I just wish I would have went with my gut and picked it for my picks. Oh well.
An upset no doubt, but I'd have to disagree with your statement that it deserved a Best Picture win more than the others. None of this year's nominees were slouches, so in that regard all of them were worthy of a BP Oscar. However, I would rank this year's nominees as follows:
1. Munich 2. Brokeback Mountain 3. Good Night, and Good Luck 4. Crash 5. Capote
Nick, it probably doesn't inspire much confidence but I agree with you. I thought Crash was very good. Granted, Crash and Munich are the only two I have seen. I still thought Crash was much better than Munich. Also, I just watched Casino. I would like to make it clear to "anyone" reading this that I am very interested in obtaining a position with your "organization" (mob). What?
JB - you friggin' backstabber. I recall seeing Munich with you, and afterwards you said it was "solid". You said it was a great movie. When you say Crash is "much" better than Munich, you're insinuating that Munich is ass. Make up your damn mind.
In regards to your other comment, be advised that my cousin Tito has connections, if you know what I mean. If you wanna get in the books, you just need to complete one small mission:

Raise $15,000 for the movie, ass hole.
Munich was solid. It was solid as in not terrible. Crash was much better as in better than not terrible. It was good.
Oh, I didn't know you just needed 15,000. Why didn't you ask? You silly duck...I will write you a check.
1. Crash
2. Brokeback Mountain
3. Munich
4. Good Night, and Good Luck
5. Capote (however, I didn't see this)
